Warranty & TermsAll Data Translation hardware products and software media are covered by a full one-year warranty. All Data Translation software products are non-returnable and non-refundable. Products repaired or replaced within this warranty period maintain their original warranty. Products repaired or replaced outside the warranty period are warranted for 90 days from invoiced date of return.
This warranty does not extend to and shall not apply to the following:

DATA TRANSLATION, INC. NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY OTHER PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALES, INSTALLATION, OR USE OF ITS PRODUCTS. DATA TRANSLATION, INC. SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE SALE, INSTALLATION, OR USE OF ITS PRODUCTS. Category 3 Products:Any Data Translation product that does not have a published list price in either the product catalog or corporate web site is classified as a Category 3 product. Orders for Category 3 products are non-returnable/non-refundable. Shipment schedules in conjunction with Category 3 orders will be defined in the customer’s original purchase order. Purchase order changes will not be allowed once the purchase order has been acknowledged and accepted by Data Translation. Customer Service Policy:
Return Policy:To return an unopened hardware product within 30 days of invoice date, contact your Data Translation sales representative. You will receive a full refund, less a restocking fee of 25% of net selling price. This policy only applies to hardware products having a published list price on the Data Translation website. Refunds and returns are not offered on software products or products classified as Category 3. Repair Procedure:Upon determining that repair services are required, contact the Data Translation Repair Center Department at (508) 481-3700 ext. 1323 to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Have the following information ready when you call: complete product model number; product serial number; name, address, and telephone number of person returning product; and any special repair instructions (also include a purchase order number if the repair is out of warranty). Carefully package the product in anti-static packaging, making sure the RMA number appears on the outside of the package. Include a description of the malfunction along with the return address and telephone number of a technical contact. Ship prepaid to: Repair Center Upon completion of the services required, an invoice is issued stating charges, when applicable, and work completed. A packing slip is enclosed in the return shipment. Data Translation will prepay return shipments via UPS for all continental U.S. returns. For returns requested via air freight, material will be sent Air Collect. For returns outside the USA and Canada: Contact your local sales representative or Data Translation headquarters for authorization and shipping instructions. |
