LV-Link is a collection of Virtual Instruments (VIs) that allows LabVIEW™ programmers to create powerful test and measurement applications using Data Translation data acquisition boards and modules.

What are polymorphic VIs?

Polymorphic VIs consolidate the functionality of multiple VIs into one VI that takes on different characteristics depending on its input values. The combination of VIs in one simple interface results in an easier learning curve since all operations on all devices use the same API.

Can I convert my existing LabVIEW programs to LV-Link?

Yes! You can quickly and easily convert any existing LabVIEW program to an LV-Link program. Simply replace the VI from LabVIEW with the corresponding VI in LV-Link and all the wiring and other connections are made automatically. This allows you to easily use the power and quality of Data Translation hardware in your application.

Are application examples available?

LV-Link includes numerous example programs that allow you to get up and running quickly. The source code for these examples is included so that you can easily modify them for your application.
