Change device name in control panel
Question:
I cannot change my device name in the Open Layers Control Panel.
Answer:
This is a common problem with Windows 7 64 bit and a solution is being worked on. The name shows up as read only and ask you to log in as an Administrator even though you are already logged in as an Administrator.
To give proper permissions go to
C:Windows - SysWOW64 - DTOLCPL.cpl file and right-click on it. Then select "Run as administrator".
