When I acquire an image, am I using the board's buffer memory or the host's memory?

Our MACH Series PCI frame grabbers do not have onboard memory. Images are stored in the system memory of the host computer. Depending on how you allocate this memory, the data is stored either in device memory, which is memory allocated by the device driver, or host memory, which is system memory you allocate.  Created: 9/01/01
