Answer: There is no
resolution to this. Acer computers do not use the standard Intel root hub for its USB
port. This causes problems with many USB device including our own. Please see microsoft link: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q315912& . Note: some customers have been able to work out any issues in order to use the DT USB module, eg. Acer 8000 TravelMate. *Dated: 11/09/04
