Because of the very small signal level of a thermocouple, a large gain and differential input are needed. Also a cjc reference circuit is required for accuracy. The Econ series is single ended input only. The solution is to use a DT9805/DT9806 model which has both a high gain and a cjc reference circuit.  *Created: 11/10/05.
