I have OpenOffice.org 2.0 software package installed on my Windows XP system. I can open .XLS files in the Calc application, but was wondering if this 'Calc' (spreadsheet) application would be compatible w/ Measure Foundry's 'Excel Live Link' component? I don't have MS Excel installed on my PC and when I drop the 'Excel Live Link' component onto my worksheet, nothing happens. It doesn't appear to be compatible w/ Measure Foundry.

 

OpenOffice software is not compatible with Measure Foundry's 'Excel Live Link'. You need to have MS Excel in order to use this component.   *Created: 08/03/06
