ManufacturingContactData Translation can provide you with a quotation for Consignment Assembly Services or Full Turnkey Services. Consignment quotes require documentation including a current revision Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings. This documentation can be sent to mfg@datx.com in order to generate a quotation. An assembly quote is calculated based upon the types of components on the board, number of placements, complexity of component placement, turnaround time required, and other special instructions requiring other work related to the assembly process. Please be sure to include quantity and turnaround time to be quoted. Click here to request a quote for your project. If the assembly job is awarded to Data Translation, Gerber Data is required (to generate the stencil), and CAD/DATA files are required to program the surface-mount pick and place machine. Turnkey quotes require the customer to provide all of the above documentation, including an Approved Vendor Listing (AVL). The AVL is a document that lists all component vendors that have been approved by the customer for a particular assembly. Turnkey quotations may require up to 3 weeks to process.
