Employee Benefits

We believe that a competitive benefits package is an important piece of our employee compensation package. Data Translation, Inc. offers an outstanding benefits package that is reflective of the present and future needs of our employees and their families. Below is a brief summary of what Data Translation, Inc. offers to all of our employees.

Medical Insurance:

Data Translation, Inc. offers Blue Cross Blue Shield’s HMO Blue option to all employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week. Our plan offers 100% coverage for medical and prescription expenses with no deductibles and a minimal co-payment due at the time services are rendered. Coverage begins on your first day of employment

Dental Insurance:

Delta Dental is offered to all Data Translation, Inc. employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week. All procedures are covered at 100%, with the exclusion of major restorative services, which are covered at 50%. Employees pay no deductibles or co-payments for dental services and coverage begins on your first day of employment.

Disability Insurance:

Data Translation, Inc. employees are offered both short and long term disability coverage. Short Term Disability Insurance is an employee paid benefit that covers employees for 12 weeks at 60% of their earnings. Long Term Disability Insurance is company offered and is effective in the event that an employee cannot return to work after 12 weeks.

Life Insurance:

Company paid term life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment are provided to all employees. All employees are eligible on the first day of employment and coverage is equal to one times the employee’s annual salary, to a maximum of $150,000. Optional Life Insurance can also be purchased in $10,000 increments up to 5 times the employees annual salary or a maximum of $500,000.

Section 125 Flexible Spending Accounts:

This plan allows pre-tax deductions to cover qualified dependent care expenses up to a maximum of $5000 per calendar year.

401(K) Employee Retirement Plan:

Data Translation, Inc. employees are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan the first of the month immediately following 30 days of employment. Employees can contribute from 1% to 16% of their pay, up to the maximum set by the IRS for that given year.

8-10 paid holidays per year
