Environmental ControlMany applications including R&D, testing, calibration, assembly and storage require the precise measurement and/or control of relative temperature. Environmental chambers are devices that are used to simulate a particular environment and are ideal for performing quality control tests along with other types of experiments. These requirements are found in many diverse industries such as electrostatics, electronics, petrochemical, packaging, pharmaceutical, plastics, biomedical, and food & beverage. Environmental chambers are also commonly known as test chambers. The testing is performed on products to make sure that they are both safe and reliable before being shipped out to be used with other items or are put on the market. Environmental chambers come in various sizes. A chamber could be the size of a small aquarium or it could be the size of a building and anywhere in between, causing large variations in temperature from one point in the chamber to another. TEMPpoint is the ideal solution when precise temperature readings are necessary to control the conditions within the environmental chamber. Up to 48 sensors per TEMPpoint instrument can be placed within the chamber and temperature readings an be taken simultaneously. These readings are fully isolated and because each channel has it's own A/D and CJC, the readings are ultra-accurate. For remote applications, the Ethernet version is the perfect solution.
